Youths Empowering Active Societal Transformation (YEAST)
This programme, tailored for university students, runs every academic year. It encompasses a variety of academic enhancement sessions aimed at equipping students with essential leadership skills and knowledge; instilling in them a sense of responsibility; and fostering a commitment to positive change in society. Other sessions are centred on personal growth, health, and career advancement, among others.
Imoran offers guidance and support to girls and women from diverse backgrounds. Recognizing the significance of mental and emotional well-being in both personal and professional growth, young ladies can receive personalised support for personal improvement in various aspects of their lives. At the Imoran Centre for Professional and Social Development, we prioritize the holistic development of interested persons.
Cultural presentations/educational sessions
To consolidate all-round human development, we organise cultural activities aimed at fostering interest in positive values, and practical home-making skills in the family environment of the centre. Some of these activities include cultural get-togethers, school clubs, young professionals clubs, and etiquette and home management classes.
The Centre organises a variety of seminars and workshops to enhance the knowledge, skills, and professional development of students. These events, which include study marathons and camps, cover a range of topics relevant to participants' academics, careers, and social impact, among others.
Social and Community Service Projects
Students are helped to actively engage in organizing and participating in community service projects, particularly benefiting the less privileged. This hands-on experience allows them to make a tangible impact in their communities.
This is an annual international event with its preparatory phase, at the national level. It is hosted in different regions of the country yearly; bringing together several undergraduates from diverse universities across Nigeria. UNIV offers a platform on which the students proffer solutions or ideas to identified problems within their immediate society. Discussions are centred around a theme chosen by an international committee comprising student representatives from all over the world.
